Level Access brings together news that matters to disabled people across the UK.
We cover disability rights, benefits, health and social care, work, education, accessible technology and everyday life. We also select international stories that offer useful context for UK readers.
How we approach the news
Every article is reviewed before publication. Our aim is to explain what has happened, who it affects and why it matters, using plain English and links to the original sources.
We distinguish confirmed changes from proposals, and identify whether a story applies to the whole UK or to a particular nation. Opinion and personal experiences are labelled clearly.
Sources and corrections
Our summaries credit the reporting and evidence behind them. We use quotations sparingly and do not treat a change of wording as permission to reproduce another publisher’s work. Significant corrections will be explained on the affected article.
Access to information
